Pawlowski Honored for Revitalization

Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski has been honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from BSI Corporate Benefits of Bethlehem, a nationally recognized employee benefits agency.

Pawlowski was presented with the award last week at the 2014 BSI C-Suite Healthcare Summit held at Coca-Cola Park.

The mayor was recognized “for his extraordinary work in revitalizing Allentown and his continued dedication and service to his community.” In making the presentation, BSI Corporate Benefits Agency Principal Tony DaRe said, “The Lehigh Valley would not be what it is today without his passion and hard work and I am grateful to be a part of such a strong community with an outstanding leader.” Pawlowski was specifically cited for his role in the siting of the new PPL Center downtown and the luring of the Phantoms American Hockey League franchise to the city.

The event was attended by more than 50 Lehigh Valley employers, representing more than 7,000 area employees.
